The new Sothys Hydra3HA Treatment quenches dry skin.
March 29, 2016
By: Christine Esposito
Editor-in-Chief
Although this winter in New York City wasn’t too bad (aside from one epic weekend blizzard that managed to shut down all of Manhattan in late January), months of cold, wind and up and down temperatures does a number on one’s skin. So needless to say, when Sothys Paris offered editors the chance to take a new hydrating facial for a test drive, Happi was a go. The new Hydra3Ha Facial has been designed to meet the hydration needs of all skin, according to Sothys. It is a six-phase treatment that incorporates two different forms of hyaluronic acid—one high molecular weight (Ha. hPM), the other low molecular weight (Ha. bPM)—and the company’s patented Boletus extract, which is said to stimulate the synthesis of hyaluronic acid. During the facial process, Ha. hPM in patch form plus “quenching” active ingredients immediately restores hydration; the boletus extract and a “regulating active ingredient” reactivates skin’s hydric memory; and Ha. bPM plus restructuring active ingredients regenerates the epidermis. The one hour and 15 minute treatment also features exclusive “digi-esthétique” massage techniques on the face. After just one treatment, Sothys contends there’s up to 71% more hydration—and my skin felt it for sure. Two Hydra3Ha intensive hydrating creams and a serum are available for customers take home. The long-term action of the serum combined with the immediate action of the hydrating cream offers the skin a high-performance moisturizing solution, notes Sothys, which offers the treatment and its skin care and cosmetics products at The L'Institut Sothys at 37 West 57th Street.
